I Heart Faces Fix It Friday #68

It's that time again!  Fix it Friday over at I Heart Faces...Here is today's Fix it Photo:

And here are my fixes.  I always do a color and a black and white.  And my recipe is below...I am not great at writing it down, but tried to remember as much as I could!

Cropped a bit
MCP’s A Touch of Color

MCP’s Skin Cast Blast at 50% opacity

MCP’s Fake Blue Sky Illusion/Deep Indigo at 64% opacity

MCP’s Magical Color Finder Brush/Vivid

MCP’s Magic Light over her skin at 29% opacity

My Four Hen’s Cream Cheese Freebie

(Can you tell I just purchased the Bag of Trick's Action Set from MCP???  This was a great way to test it out!)

And then I used these actions for the black and white conversion:

On the Spot Studio’s Silver and Gold (which I LOVE!) w/ MCP’s Oops I Blew it and Darker and Richer

I Heart Faces Week 34...Beaches!

This week over at I Heart Faces, the theme is BEACHES!!!  What a fabulous theme...I thought that I would enter a photo from a wedding that I helped shoot in Martha's Vineyard this April.  My friend, Amanda, was a beautiful bride, and I feel blessed to know her.  Hope you enjoy this image, and make sure to check out all of the other fabulous entries here!

I Heart Faces...Week 33: Got to Wear Shades Photo Challenge

This week over at I Heart Faces they are having their weekly photo challenge, Got to Wear Shades.  I pullled this photo from a mini session I did with a senior this spring.  He wanted to rock out his Aviators and his Taylor guitar, and that he did.  He is a great kid and just got back from a mission trip to Russia where he helped serve by playing music in the streets, to bring people in to church to hear the gospel.  Can't wait to hear about where God takes him next!  Thanks, T, for letting me get out there and practice!
Make sure that you go over and check out all of the other awesome entries for this week's challenge here.

The McClelland Family

The McClelland's are the sweetest family!  They have also joined us here in South Carolina and are getting ready to ship out to Germany soon.  K & A have two beautiful, little guys, Mr. G and Mr. P, and are expecting their first girl in the fall.  All of us ladies on post are very excited to buy some pink things for her closet.

We are blessed to live right across the street from them, and every time we go outside, Mr. J, my sweet boy, yells for them to come and play...it is the cutest thing ever!  All of the boys share a love affair with Thomas the Tank, so we enjoy watching them play (or fight, depending on the day haha) with their trains.

I really appreciate their sweet spirit!  They are so relaxed and easy going, we love them already!  Hope you enjoy...

The Bruce Family

I love the Bruce Family!  J is serving in the United States Army Chaplain Corp and is in class right now with my husband.  They have been such a blessing to me and my family this summer, and we are so glad to count them as friends.  The Bruce Kids, Miss M, Miss S, and Mr. D, have even decided that they would like to adopt my little guy...they call him Bruce #4 haha!

We had an awesome family photo session a couple of weeks ago at the University of South Carolina's Horseshoe.  It was gorgeous there and I am so glad that the family was willing to bear with me through the Carolina heat!  I hope you enjoy the images of this beautiful family and will join me in praying for them as they prepare to serve the Lord in New York.
